Dr. Kenneth A. Young
Dr. Young is a 1993 graduate of Southern College of Optometry where he was awarded for his diagnosis and treatment of ocular pathology. He serves as a FDA Investigator and Associate Professor for 3 optometry schools. In his time off, he enjoys time with his wife and two kids, hunting, fishing and raising Hereford Cattle.
Dr. Peter T. Van Hoven
Dr. Van Hoven is a lifelong Nashvillian. After completing optometry school in Memphis and returning to middle TN, he joined Primary Eyecare in 2002. Dr. Van Hoven is a member of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians as well as an administrator for Vision Source (the largest group of private practice Optometrists in the nation). In his spare time, he enjoys watching his daughters play volleyball, boating with his family and generally anything that involves the outdoors.
Dr. Nicholas P. Engle
An Iowa native, Dr. Engle joined Primary Eyecare Group in 2007. He has completed internships in both primary and pediatric optometric care and wants to see your whole family! He is Trustee of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, an Infantsee® provider, and a volunteer with the special Olympics Opening Eyes program.
Dr. Engle and his family like spending time outdoors so if you know of any great hikes let him know! He is also a bow tie and sock enthusiast. Try to spot what he’s wearing today!
Dr. Molly Pace
Dr. Pace grew up in Greenville, MS. She attended Mississippi State University and graduated in 2013. She then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she served as the Vice President of her state optometric student association and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. She graduated Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in 2018 and moved to Tennessee to begin practicing at Primary Eyecare Group.
Dr. Pace enjoys spending time with her family, loves to travel, and she is a huge animal lover. She would love to see you and your family for all your eye health needs!
