They were able to fit me in on the same day when I had an eye emergency and everyone on the staff was very accommodating. They took time to discuss the diagnosis and treatment with me and quickly corrected an issue the pharmacy had with the prescription that was given.

Personable, great staff, feels like an education every time I go. This visit included “vitreous” explanation. ( I saw the eye chart with curved edges.) Can’t say enough positive things.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Engle for years and still make the hour drive to see him. He’s honest, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to explain my options. Plus, he’s funny and makes eye appointments enjoyable.

Dr Van Hoven is our provider that we trust and return to year after year, even my daughter who is a Dr that resides in CT within a prestigious healthcare community comes back annually to Dr Van Hoven for her eyecare needs. Excellent quality of care and service. I have been seeing Dr. Engle since I moved back to Tennessee and enjoy having a consistent honest, caring and friendly doctor. They never push unnecessary products or services, are always prompt and kind.

In general primary eye care does an amazing job. They have the latest technology and I felt more comfortable with their exam and diagnosis than I did going to Vanderbilt. Dr. Ken Young was awesome and very informative. I have recommended family and friends to them.

After my glasses got rearranged by my toddler, the nice people at primary eye care were able to restore my glasses and even put new nosepads on them (pic of damaged glasses). Highly recommend!
